About these terms
Caristry is a vehicle-record application provided by Freezing Point. These Terms of Service govern your use of Caristry. By using the app, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, stop using the app. Questions can be sent to 4incode@protonmail.com. Effective date: September 16, 2026.
Using Caristry
You may use Caristry to manage your vehicle records for lawful personal or business purposes. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter, your use of the app and complying with applicable laws. Do not use the app to infringe another person’s rights, distribute malicious content or interfere with its operation.
Your records and backups
You retain your rights to the records, photos and documents you add. You are responsible for having permission to use that content. Caristry stores vehicle information on your device; it does not provide a Freezing Point cloud account or server backup. Export and retain backups before uninstalling, clearing app storage or changing devices. Verify restored data and keep separate copies of important records. Exported files and backups may contain sensitive information.
Information and reminders
Caristry is an organizational tool, not a vehicle diagnostic system or professional mechanical, financial, insurance, legal or tax advice. Estimates, statistics, imported data and receipt text recognition may contain errors. Review results before relying on them. Reminders depend on Android permissions, battery settings and scheduling and are not guaranteed to appear at an exact time. Follow your manufacturer’s maintenance instructions and obtain qualified advice when appropriate. Do not operate the app while driving.
Third-party services and content
Android, Google Play, Google ML Kit, map applications, cloud document providers and other services you choose may have their own terms and privacy policies. Freezing Point does not control those services. Manufacturer names and images identify vehicles and belong to their respective owners. Images are representative; year, trim and appearance may differ from your vehicle. Caristry is not affiliated with or endorsed by vehicle manufacturers or aCar.
App rights
Freezing Point and its licensors retain their rights in Caristry’s software, design and supplied content. You receive permission to use the app as provided, subject to these terms and applicable third-party licenses. This does not transfer ownership of the app or supplied manufacturer images. Open-source components remain subject to their own licenses, available in the app’s third-party notices. These terms do not limit rights granted by those licenses or applicable law.
Availability and changes
Features may change as the app is maintained. We do not promise uninterrupted availability or compatibility with every device, import file or future Android version. If pricing or additional purchase terms are introduced, they will be presented before any purchase; these terms do not authorize charges. Material changes to these terms will be reflected in the effective date and communicated in the app or on this site as appropriate.
Disclaimer and responsibility
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Caristry is provided as available, without a promise that it will be error-free or meet every particular need. You are responsible for reviewing your records and maintaining backups. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, or removes mandatory consumer rights. No specific monetary liability cap, arbitration requirement or choice of court is imposed by these terms.
Ending use and contact
You may stop using Caristry at any time. Export data you wish to keep before uninstalling. Uninstalling does not delete copies you exported or shared to other services.
